PROGRAM PARTNERS AND MERV GRIFFIN ENTERTAINMENT STRIKE LICENSING DEAL WITH HASBRO FOR
MERV GRIFFIN’S CROSSWORDS™
New Board Games to be Available in 2008
Los Angeles, CA — November 16, 2007 — Program Partners and Merv Griffin Entertainment (MGE) announced today that licensing rights for the new game show, Merv Griffin’s Crosswords, had been sold to Hasbro, Inc. (NYSE: HAS). Under the terms brokered by the William Morris Agency, Hasbro will develop at-home games based on Crosswords, which will be available for purchase in retail stores beginning in 2008.

Hosted by daytime television star Ty Treadway, Merv Griffin’s Crosswords™ is a fast-paced, new generation “Q & A” half-hour game show in which players compete against each other and the clock in a unique way to solve a crossword puzzle. The series is the #1 new game show in syndication, airing in over 90% of the U.S., including major market NBC-owned stations.
