PROGRAM PARTNERS EXPANDS DA VINCI’S INQUEST BROADBAND EFFORT IN SUPPORT OF STATION AFFILIATES

Offering Premieres Online Exclusives and Rare Behind-The-Scenes Video

Los Angeles, CA — January 15, 2007 — Furthering its expansion into new media and broadband, Program Partners today announced the launch of a new broadband video initiative for broadcast affiliates, featuring exclusive video content from its hit procedural drama, Da Vinci’s Inquest. Program Partners will use the Brightcove Internet TV service to launch broadband video channels and syndicate exclusive content to affiliate television station websites to promote shows, debut exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, and provide dramatic highlights from the critically-acclaimed series. In upcoming phases of the initiative, in addition to featuring the Da Vinci video on their own websites, stations will integrate local advertisers into the programming.

“Stations are achieving growth through online advertising,” said David Hutchinson, Program Partners’ Senior Vice-President of New Media. “With this new initiative, broadcasters not only get an award-winning series, they get highly-promotable content for their online audience.”

“The Da Vinci broadband initiative is the latest Program Partners innovation to find new revenue streams for our broadcast partners,” said Josh Raphaelson of Program Partners. “Working with Brightcove gives us the ability to reach viewers directly from an increasing number of digital platforms, while providing us with more control over content distribution and monetization.”

“We are excited to be working with Program Partners and such a fast-growing roster of high-quality programming. The Brightcove Internet TV service offers a powerful opportunity to expand distribution through Internet video, drive viewership, and open the door to new revenue sources,” said Eric Elia, Vice President of Programming and Design for Brightcove. “With Brightcove, Program Partners quickly brought Da Vinci’s Inquest directly to fans in a way that communicates the brand and provides the highest-quality playback experience, all integrated directly into the websites of hundreds of broadcast affiliates throughout North America.”

Cleared in 98% of the country and airing on more than 200 station affiliates, including all major markets, Da Vinci’s Inquest continues to grow in popularity and deliver solid ratings during its second year of U.S. syndication.

“It’s easy to participate in the program, and the video quality is terrific,” commented Craig Cole at LIN station WXSP in Grand Rapids. “The player has a home page feature designed with user-friendly functionality. We’re confident that fans of Da Vinci will love and embrace it!”

Produced by Haddock Entertainment and Barna-Alper Productions, Da Vinci’s Inquest is an award-winning prime-time procedural drama in the mold of the CSI and Law and Order franchises and is one of the most honored series in the history of Canadian television. Dominic Da Vinci (Nicholas Campbell) is the controversial coroner who—with the help of a compelling ensemble cast of forensic investigators, pathologists and homicide detectives—“speaks for the dead to protect the living.”

Program Partners is marketing Da Vinci’s Inquest as an outgrowth of its overall distribution agreement with Thunderbird Films.
